![]() Love is in the air! Looking for something simple to make your sweetheart on Valentine's Day? Using instant pudding and whipping cream, this chocolate mousse couldn't be easier, or more delicious. This recipe can be doubled if you're making it for your family, or a dinner party. Ingredients for the mousse: 1 large box of instant chocolate pudding (Jello, 5.1-ounce box, it has to be instant) 3 cups of whipping cream Ingredients for whipped cream: 1 cup of whipping cream 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract Directions: Place the instant pudding in a deep mixing bowl. Add the whipping cream. Using a hand mixer whip the mixture on low until it starts to come together (you don't want it flying out of the bowl and all over the kitchen). Once the mousse begins to come together turn the hand mixer on high until the mousse is thoroughly whipped together. For the whipped cream: place the whipping cream in a deep bowl, add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Using a hand mixer, slowly whip the cream (so it doesn't fly out of the bowl), increase the speed once the whipped cream comes together. Spoon the chocolate mousse into individual bowls or one large bowl. Decorate with freshly whipped cream and raspberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Happy Valentine's Day! |
