![]() A favorite local childhood drink is to take a little bit of every kind of soda – Coke, Sprite, Orange Crush, Grape and sometimes also Pineapple - and mix them together. We call this a ‘Roun de’ World. This cookie is a mixture of my favorites! Ingredients: 1 cup butter or margarine ¾ cup brown sugar ½ cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon of vanilla 1 ½ cups of all purpose, unbleached flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 1/2 cups of oats (quick or old fashioned – uncooked) 2 cups of crispy rice cereal 1 cup raisins 1 cup chocolate chips 1 cup of peanut butter chips Directions: Heat your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare your baking sheets by lining them with tin foil or parchment paper. DO NOT grease the pans. In a large bowl combine butter or margarine, brown and white sugar, vanilla and the eggs. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until combined. Stir in the oats, crispy rice cereal, raisins, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoons (or with a medium sized cookie scoop) onto your prepared cookie sheets. Space them apart by 2 inches in case they spread while baking. Press down lightly on the top of the cookie. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool on the pan. Then enjoy! Comments are closed.
